1. Our Services
Vialux Limited provides licensed Private Hire & Taxi Services in and around Luton, UK, in full compliance with
local authority regulations and licensing requirements.
2. Bookings
- Bookings may be made through our website, by phone, or through our mobile app (if available).
- You are responsible for providing accurate details including passenger name, pick-up location, pick-up time, destination, and contact number.
- All bookings are subject to driver and vehicle availability.
- We reserve the right to decline or cancel bookings where information provided is incomplete, inaccurate, or suspected to be fraudulent.
3. Fares & Payments
Fares are quoted at the time of booking and are subject to variation if the journey is altered (e.g., additional stops,
waiting times, or route changes).
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept payment via cash, card, or approved online payment gateways.
Additional Pricing Disclosures
- Discounts: A system-defined percentage discount will be automatically applied to the base fare, inclusive of any return trip multiplier.
- Vehicle Rates: Fare rates depend on the selected vehicle category. Pricing tiers are displayed in search results prior to booking confirmation.
- Mileage-Based Pricing: Fares are calculated per mile based on a tiered pricing structure:
- 0–30 miles: £3.75 per mile
- 31–60 miles: £3.50 per mile
- 61–100 miles: £3.25 per mile
- 101–150 miles: £3.00 per mile
- 151–200 miles: £2.73 per mile
- 201–275 miles: £2.50 per mile
- 276 miles and above: £2.25 per mile
- Wait Time Charges: An initial grace period of a system-defined number of minutes is free of charge. After this, a per-minute waiting charge will apply.
- Peak Hour Surcharge: A system-defined percentage surcharge applies during peak hours (typically 07:00–09:00 and 17:00–19:00).
- Airport Surcharge: A fixed surcharge applies to airport pickups and drop-offs, as defined by the system.
- No-Social-Hours Surcharge: A system-defined percentage surcharge applies to trips booked between 00:00–05:00 (or as otherwise defined).
Amendments to Pricing
We reserve the right to revise, update, or modify fare rates, discounts, surcharges, and pricing tiers at any time
without prior notice. Changes take effect immediately upon being published on our platform.
Liability Disclaimer
While every effort is made to ensure fare accuracy, Vialux.uk is not liable for typographical errors, system malfunctions,
or technical issues resulting in incorrect fare quotations. We reserve the right to correct fares and notify you prior to
booking confirmation.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
- Free Cancellation: Bookings may be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days prior to the scheduled service date.
- Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled pick-up time may not be eligible for a refund.
- Refunds Due to Vialux.uk Cancellation: If we cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather, vehicle breakdown, regulatory restrictions), you will be entitled to a full refund.
- Processing Time: Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 working days to the original payment method.
- No-Show Policy: Failure to be present at the agreed pick-up point without prior cancellation is non-refundable.
- How to Cancel: Cancellations must be made through your Vialux.uk account or by contacting support.
5. Passenger Responsibilities
- Be ready at the agreed pick-up time and location.
- Wear seat belts at all times in accordance with UK law.
- Smoking, vaping, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited.
- Any damage caused by passengers may result in additional charges.
6. Cleaning Policy
If a vehicle is soiled during a trip (e.g., vomiting, spills, excessive dirt), a cleaning fee will apply to cover the
cost of professional cleaning and downtime.
- Cleaning fees range from £20 to £150 or more, depending on severity.
- Drivers must submit photographic evidence within 3 business days, which will be reviewed before charging.
- The approved cleaning fee will be charged directly to the passenger’s payment method on file.
7. Our Responsibilities
We will make reasonable efforts to ensure timely pick-up and safe transportation. We reserve the right to refuse
service if a passenger poses a safety risk or behaves in a threatening, abusive, or unlawful manner.

We are not liable for delays or missed connections caused by events beyond our control, including traffic, weather,
accidents, road closures, or mechanical breakdowns. Our liability for any claim is limited to the cost of the journey.
